Found a pattern you love but need a different size—or would like to use a punch needle design for rug hooking? Orphaned Wool offers custom pattern options to help you bring your creative vision to life.

Any Orphaned Wool punch needle or rug hooking design can be considered for customization, including designs not currently listed in the rug hooking collection. Depending on your project, I can adapt the design to your preferred size or orientation and prepare a custom rug hooking pattern.

No trip to the print shop is needed. Choose the format that works best for you and your project.

I can adapt the design to your preferred finished size and orientation. For rug punching with yarn, a mirrored version can be prepared when needed to ensure the design transfers in the correct direction.

Please include:

Pattern name: Tell me which Orphaned Wool design you'd like to customize.

Pattern type: Punch needle or rug hooking.

Preferred format: Custom-size paper, hand-drawn on linen, or custom-size PDF.

Finished size: Include your desired width and height, if known.

Orientation: Let me know if you need a mirrored design for yarn rug punching.

Not sure what size will work best? Share your project details, and I'll be happy to help you determine a suitable size. Keeping the original proportions generally preserves the design's appearance; substantial changes to proportions may distort the artwork.

Every custom request is different, so you'll receive a quote before placing your order. Once you approve the quote, I'll send a secure invoice for your custom pattern.

Paper and PDF patterns include numbered pages and assembly instructions to make cutting, taping, and tracing at home straightforward. Sample photos are available to help you see how the process works.
