The Garden Rabbit Punch Needle Pattern features an optional two-sided technique with either a paper pattern or a pattern on Weaver's cloth, making it ideal for experienced and novice needle punchers. This photo of the Garden Rabbit punch needle uses Valdani Threads, but you can also choose to use DMC Floss or a combination of both Thread companies for your customization.
Garden Rabbit Punch Needle Pattern- This Garden Rabbit pattern also has a companion design, the Garden Fox, which creates a beautiful pillow set. Additionally, the Garden Rabbit pattern includes an optional two-sided embroidery technique that involves working the pattern on both the front and back sides to add dimension and texture to the design (Garden Fox is sold separately).

The pattern includes a beautiful custom full-color thread placement guide, detailing exactly where each color is used throughout the design, as well as a thread color code list for both Valdani Threads (used to create this pattern) or DMC Floss. The selected DMC floss 6-strand skeins are solid colors, which will give a slightly different but beautiful finish to the design and include the necessary pattern instructions.
If you create the design using this embroidery technique, the 2-sided technique requires 1 yard of 3mm macrame cording.
PATTERN OPTIONS: Paper pattern or Pattern on Weaver's Cloth.
Paper patterns are ready to be traced onto the Weaver's cloth. I recommend using a small lightbox and a Micron 05 Archival Ink Pen to trace your patterns onto your Weaver's cloth fabric for the paper pattern version.
The Pattern on Weaver's cloth version is a "ready to go" pattern on quality Weaver's cloth fabric, ready to be used on your frame or hoop.
